2027 USSSA Bat Release Calendar: What's Dropping This Fall

Bat model years run ahead of the calendar, so the 2027 USSSA bats are already starting to arrive even though it is August 2026. The next several months are the busiest release window of the year: brands historically stack their flagship launches between late summer and the holidays so new bats are in hands before spring tryouts. Here is where the 2027 season stands right now, with confirmed releases clearly separated from what we merely expect based on each brand's history.

A quick note on how to read this: anything listed as confirmed is showing up in retailer listings or official brand channels. Everything else is an educated expectation based on historical release patterns, and brands change plans all the time. We will update this calendar as announcements land.

Confirmed 2027 Releases So Far

DeMarini The Goods (2027). The first major 2027 USSSA line to arrive. Retailers began listing the 2027 The Goods in early summer 2026, with the USSSA lineup covering -10, -8, and -5 drops around DeMarini's X14 alloy barrel. The Goods has historically been DeMarini's power-hitter line, and the early-summer launch continues the pattern DeMarini has used for this model in recent years.

Louisville Slugger Supra (2027). The 2027 Supra is the first 2027 Louisville Slugger USSSA line to reach reviewers and retail, continuing Slugger's push in the big-barrel travel space.

Rawlings ICON FEST (2027). Rawlings has a limited-edition 2027 ICON FEST listed at retailers, a special colorway release built on the popular ICON platform in -10, -8, and -5 USSSA drops. Limited editions like this typically precede the full-line refresh.

That is the confirmed list as of this writing. Everything below is expectation, not announcement.

What We Expect This Fall, Brand by Brand

Easton. Easton's Hype franchise has been the marquee USSSA composite of the last several seasons, and Easton has typically refreshed it in the fall-to-winter window. Expect the next Hype-family flagship (and likely a refreshed alloy line) to be announced sometime this fall or winter. Nothing is confirmed yet.

DeMarini. With The Goods already out, DeMarini's remaining question is its composite side, historically the Zoa and CF families. DeMarini has tended to release its composite flagships later in the cycle than its alloys, so watch the fall and winter months.

Louisville Slugger. Beyond the confirmed Supra, Slugger's other USSSA lines (including its Atlas alloy family) have historically refreshed in the fall-to-spring window. Expect announcements in stages rather than all at once.

Marucci. Marucci runs its CAT series on a roughly two-year cycle rather than annual refreshes, so whether a new CAT generation lands for 2027 depends on where we are in that cycle. Marucci launches have historically come in late summer or fall when they do happen. No 2027 CAT announcement has been made that we can verify.

Rawlings. The ICON FEST limited edition strongly suggests the ICON platform continues into 2027. Rawlings has typically launched its full new-year lines in the fall. Watch for the mainline 2027 ICON refresh and any updates to its alloy offerings.

Victus. Victus has grown quickly in the USSSA space behind the Nox line, with recent-generation launches landing in the summer-to-fall window. A 2027 Nox refresh this fall would fit the pattern, but nothing is confirmed.

Should You Buy Now or Wait?

The annual dilemma: current-year bats go on sale exactly when next-year bats generate all the buzz. Our general guidance is simple. If your player needs a bat for fall ball right now, buy a 2026 model; late summer and early fall bring real discounts on current flagships, and year-over-year performance changes are usually incremental. If your player's bat will last until spring, waiting can make sense, both to see the 2027 lineups and to catch even deeper discounts on 2026 models once their successors ship.

One more planning note for this cycle specifically: USSSA's national 14U standard moved to BBCOR (or wood) effective January 1, 2026. If your player is entering 13U or 14U, factor that into whether a new USSSA bat is worth the spend at all, and double-check your division's rules before buying anything.
