The barrel is the Zen Dark Matter Composite with the updated 2026 layup — DeMarini credits it for a massive sweet spot, loud contact, and high-end performance, and it is the same barrel that makes the standard Zen one of the better composites in the class.
The Zen Direct Connection fuses barrel and handle with a stiffer coupling than a fully decoupled two-piece, trading some whip for cleaner energy transfer and better feedback. The lightweight Anomaly End Cap pulls mass out of the barrel's far end to hold swing weight down and keep the bat controllable.
USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp under NTS testing, full 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Functionally identical to the standard Zen in every respect that touches performance.
